Line editing and Copyediting (two passes with author review between)

Line editing and Copyediting (one pass) - can also be used for previously published books or as a proofread
$7.50 per 1000 word increment; minimum charge $75
Example: 60,000 words is $450

Line editing and Copyediting for works translated into English will be quoted on a project basis after a sample has been submitted.

I offer a free sample of up to 1000 words to determine whether we are a good fit.


Turnaround time
The average manuscript (60-80k) will be returned in 7-10 days (per pass). However, in order to be flexible (because life happens), I often work with the author's deadlines. So if you don't need it that soon, I will return it by the date you tell me. If you need it back sooner, please let me know, and I will try my best to accommodate. I do not charge a rush fee. Communication is the key!

Blurb/Synopsis
I will review the blurb for the project I'm working on at no charge.

Payment
No deposit is required.
I invoice and accept payment through PayPal.
​Full payment may be required before the release of the final edited manuscript.
No refunds once the edited manuscript has been returned to the author.

Please Note:
If you plan to use my services, please contact me prior to completion of your manuscript so I can review my schedule, discuss your timeline, and pencil you in for the week you anticipate being ready. 
While I try to accommodate an author's timeline as best as I can, my schedule books out months ahead, and it will become more difficult to squeeze in last-minute manuscripts.
